NOT DRAWN BY ME!!
This was originally drawn by

and posted back in August. I contacted her way back then and asked her if she'd be okay with me coloring some of her stuff. She was pretty excited by the idea and gave me permission. Fast forward a million years later, since I seem to move at the speed of glacier and I finally have something to show. Poor girl, she probably thinks I forgot all about her. But it wasn't lazyness! I swear! My internal monologue was basically this:
"This is gonna be so cool! I'm gonna watercolor the SHIT out of this! It's gonna be amazing! It's gonna be spectacu.... what the hell am I doing? Watercolor? I'm not even any good at watercolor! I've only done like 5 paintings ever! What gave me the impression this was gonna be a good idea? I'm gonna ruin it!"
Then I'd run and hide from it for a good month or so before actually giving it a go, then I'd have a similar panic attack after each. freaking. color.
"I did the red! The red looks good! Now it's time for the blues! ......NO I CAN'T!!!" *run and hide*
But in the end I got it done! Though if I color any of her other pieces it will DEFINATELY be digital. I need my undo button safety blanket.
Anyway, onto particulars. This is watercolor, obviously. Lineart originally in regular pencil before a final go over in Prismacolor pencils. Finished off with copius amounts of photoshop color correction. The background is based off of the real location in Animal Kingdom where the real L&S face characters meet with guests at the park. It's kinda hard to tell but the little speckles on the ribbon in little Lilo's hair, the pencil, and the autograph book are done in glitter glue. It looks better in real life.
